Osilaris™ consumables support adherent and suspension cell culture in a closed, expandable system. Choose the culture bag that fits your cells, with process bottles for media handling, reagent addition, microcarrier preparation and waste collection.
Two culture bags. One flexible platform.
Both bags are supplied
sterile for single use and include integrated pH and dissolved oxygen sensors.
Expandable culture volume allows you to start small and increase volume as your
cells grow. Integrated retention filters support in-bag washing and media
exchange, while weldable tubing enables connections to compatible equipment.
Each bag carries a barcode containing its lot number and sensor-calibration information. These details can be entered manually or scanned into the Osilaris™ interface using a compatible barcode scanner.
Osilaris™ adherent culture bag
Designed for
microcarrier-based expansion of adherent cells, including MSCs and HEK293
cells. Culture volume and available growth surface can increase within the same
bag through the addition of fresh medium and microcarriers.
Integrated 100 µm
filters retain microcarriers during washing and media exchange. The bag also
supports collection of conditioned medium for cell-derived extracellular
vesicle workflows and is compatible with different dissolvable and
non-dissolvable microcarriers.
Osilaris™ suspension culture bag
Designed for
single-cell and aggregate cultures, including T-cell workflows, iPSC spheroids
and organoids. An integrated 1 µm cell-retention membrane supports in-bag
washing and media exchange while retaining cells in the culture chamber.
The bag incorporates a
Y-splitter to support microbubble-based T-cell selection, allowing selection to
be integrated with subsequent activation and expansion steps.

Sterile bottle assemblies with weldable tubing support closed fluid handling around the culture bag.
- Osilaris™ 1L bottle: For media, reagent addition or waste collection.
- Osilaris™ 2L buffer bottle: Additional capacity for medium replenishment and buffer addition.
- Osilaris™ 2L microcarrier bottle: Includes a retention pouch for washing and preparing microcarriers for adherent culture.
